Mottingham - June 2015

Armed with litter pickers, gloves and refuse sacks, volunteers in Mottingham joined forces to help clean up the local area and in just a few hours, 15 sacks of litter had been collected. A well-earned cup of tea at Geffrey’s Hall Community Centre rounded off the event while Kier, the Council’s street cleaning contractor, made sure the refuse sacks were removed and disposed of safely.

Chislehurst - August 2015

With dry and sunny weather getting the day off to a good start, around eight Chislehurst Society members pulled together to brush up the neighbourhood amassing 18 sacks of rubbish, old mattresses, cooking oil cans and wood during the clean-up event. Areas tidied up included alleyways at the rear of high street shops, Chislehurst Common and Belmont Parade.

Activities took place in Mottingham, Chislehurst and Petts Wood on a range of dates from spring to autumn 2015.
