Bromley’s Mayor, Councillor Russell L. Mellor, met with staff and volunteers at the vaccination centre in Bromley Civic Centre, to thank them for working tirelessly to vaccinate the borough's resident

Bromley’s Mayor, Councillor Mellor said ‘’The hard work and dedication of the NHS staff and volunteers who have worked to help vaccinate Bromley residents is inspirational. I was pleased to have the opportunity to meet with some of these inspiring people on Saturday and thank them personally for their commitment during this challenging time.

‘’NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers’ Day is an excellent opportunity for us all to remember how important these people are in delivering care and support to our communities. At 8pm this evening I will be clapping outside, alongside my wife, in recognition of our key frontline workers and I hope you will join me in doing so’’.

Residents are encouraged to clap and show their support at 8pm tonight for those workers and volunteers who have supported us throughout the pandemic.
