Don't lose your right to vote
Bromley residents are being urged to look out for electoral registration forms that will be dropping through their letterboxes in the next few weeks, enabling them to vote in the May 2006 local elections.
The outcome of local elections determines who makes decisions about education, environment and many other local services that underpin the quality of everyday life for Bromley people.
Everyone needs to register where they will be living on 15 October 2005, and everyone who will be 18 before 30 November 2006 should be listed.
There is a legal requirement to provide the information which is then compiled in the Electoral Register, due to be published on 1 December 2005.
Anyone who would like a postal vote can indicate this on the form which will be delivered and collected by the Council.
Contact 020 8313 4364 or email electoral@bromley.gov.uk for further details.
