Mastering the art of watercolour
All budding watercolour artists will soon be able to master the skills needed to produce their very own masterpiece at a new class in Beckenham.
The introduction to watercolour class will teach students the basics moving on to producing quality art that will impress friends, family and even yourself and is organised by Bromley Mytime and delivered by experienced local artist Joy Thomas.
Suitable for beginners, the course will cover a variety of topics including how to mix colours and produce effects, how to lay colours and washes and the art of creating portrait and landscape scenes of still life.
Students will be encouraged to work at their own pace with expert guidance and are required to bring their own materials (a list is available from Beckenham Public Hall). The short introductory course will take place each Friday morning on 25 February and 4, 11 and 18 March from 10am to 12noon and costs £28 for the course.
To discuss the content of the course, the equipment required, or to book your place please contact Joy Thomas on 07838 135066 or Beckenham Public Hall on 020 8650 3483.
