BOOST - the new multi-movement and personal development programme for 5 to 11 year olds is set to expand this April giving children all over Bromley the chance to try a range of new courses designed to boost their development.

Provided by Bromley Mytime, BOOST promotes safe, fun learning through a variety of sport, dance, drama, voice, multi movement and game playing activities and it’s getting a good review from kids too.

Previous BOOST participants at the Walnuts Leisure Centre said, “It’s the best thing we have ever done.  The equipment is really cool and the coaches are really fun”.

Following the overwhelming success at sites in Orpington and Bromley, the scheme will now expand to include new sessions at The Spa and Langley Park Sports Centre in Beckenham, Darwin Sports Centre, Biggin Hill and the Pavilion Leisure Centre, Bromley.

BOOST is designed to be a fun and exciting activity that significantly improves children’s ‘whole body’ movement whilst teaching children good ethics.  It incorporates existing national movement programmes and develops fundamental skills.  As well as improving core movement skills, BOOST has been designed to promote children’s social skills, confidence and self-esteem and appeals to those who are normally sedentary as well as those who are normally very active.
