13 September 2005

With the pressures of today’s hectic lifestyle more and more people are becoming aware of the importance of taking regular exercise and adopting a healthy diet. Healthy eating, in particular eating more fruit and vegetables, may help reduce the risk of the two main killers in this country – heart disease and some cancers.

The perfect way to start losing weight and getting in shape is with Healthy Choice, guaranteed to point you in the right direction towards a more active lifestyle.

The new scheme has been set up by Bromley Mytime, the largest local leisure provider and charitable leisure trust operating leisure facilities on behalf of Bromley Council.

Talking part in exercise can take many different forms including walking, swimming, aqua aerobics, fitness classes, cardio-vascular work out and gym based activities, and sports such as table tennis, badminton and squash.

Vince German, Marketing Executive said; “Healthy Choice offers a combination of a personal exercise programme combined with an easy to understand knowledge of nutrition. It has been developed as part of Bromley Mytime’s exciting new health and fitness brand active lifestyle and offers people the chance to access the knowledge and skills of our fully qualified staff to establish an exercise training and nutrition programme.“

There are two Healthy Choice courses on offer – ‘Starters’ and ‘Main Course’. They have been designed to give you a better understanding of nutrition and exercise.

Healthy Choice recognises that each person’s needs are very different and offers a 1-2-1 Training or Group programme starting from only £40 for 6 weeks!

Both the Healthy Choice 1-2-1 Training and Healthy Choice Group sessions follow the same programme with each session lasting 90 minutes. They include practical elements, such as gym programmes and cardiovascular challenges, to highlight progress through the course.
