Opportunity for landlords to get together
Bromley Council is to hold its first landlords’ forum later this month. The event will be an opportunity for local landlords and letting agents to meet representatives from various organisations providing housing related services and exchange views about the property rental market.
Organised by the Council’s Housing Initiatives Team, the forum will be held between 5.30pm and 8pm on Tuesday 20 September at Ripley Arts Centre, 24 Sundridge Avenue, Bromley.
There will be display stands and contributions from the Council’s Environmental and Leisure Services department and partners including Notting Hill Housing Group, South London Family Housing Association, the rent officer service and Liberata, the Council’s housing benefit contractor.
Notting Hill Housing Group and South London Family Housing Association work in partnership with the Council to provide a leasing scheme for property owners, which includes both management of property and tenants.
The Housing Initiatives Team will also be available to promote the highly successful direct letting scheme, which provides landlords with a free tenant finding service and other benefits.
