main content £600,000 investment for Bromley Golf Centre

03 April 2006

Bromley Mytime, the local charitable leisure trust, is investing over £600,000 into the development of Bromley Golf Centre in Magpie Hall Lane, Bromley Common. The bulk of the development is focused on a new driving range and work is well underway.

The course is still open whilst works are progressing and the new centre is due to open in the middle of May. Central to the investment is a 20-bay floodlit driving range, complete with automatic Power Tees and a refurbished clubhouse.

This is in addition to last years investment at the course that included the introduction of three new holes, water features and bunkers, plus a practice area.

Steve Price, Bromley Mytime, said; “We are committed to improving and enhancing the sports, arts and play facilities and services available to the people of Bromley.
£600k is a significant capital investment into Bromley Golf Centre and the new facilities, including the driving range, will provide the perfect location for golfers of all abilities to practise their game. Through our investment Bromley Golf Centre is arguably one of the best pay and play 9-hole courses in the southeast.”

Bromley Golf Centre has a relaxed atmosphere and an informal dress code, so whether you’re a Green Jacket contender or novice come along to see what Bromley has to offer.
