main content Teenagers get Connected

14 August 2006

The Connect Road Show visited Bromley last weekend offering teenagers lots of activities during the summer holidays.

The Connect Road Show includes a skate park, roller disco, climbing wall, golf driving, computer generated music sessions and the Xbox challenge. Whether you want to try your hand at a new activity, or show off your skills, the Connect Road Shows have something for everyone aged 11-19!

Councillor George Taylor, Portfolio Holder for Public Protection and Safety, said, “The Council is supporting the Connect Road Shows because they give young people lots to do during the holiday periods, and a welcome alternative to beat boredom and potentially getting into trouble. They are also lots of fun!”

Connect Road Shows visit
Mottingham (Castlecombe Youth Centre - 17,18 and 21 August),
Beckenham (Spa Leisure Centre) - 19 and 20 August
Orpington (Priory Sports Centre - 22 August), and
Biggin Hill (Darwin Sports Centre - 23,24 and 25 August)
