Bromley work related Learning Awards 2006
Date: Monday, 10 July 2006 (6:30pm - 9:00 pm)
Event: Work Related Learning Awards 2006
Venue: Great Hall, Civic Centre, London Borough of Bromley
Time: Evening of Monday, 10 July 2006
Audience: Invited members of the local community, schools, businesses
Primary, secondary and special schools in Bromley all work in partnership with their local community and business. We are holding an event to celebrate some of the key projects and to recognise the importance of education and business working together to support young people and prepare them for the world of work.
Awards will be issued to
- volunteers who give up their time to work with primary and secondary pupils on a one to one basis;
- students who have achieved and excelled on their work experience placements; and
- employers who have worked with schools and Bromley EBP to bring the world of work into education.
We are delighted that Lloyd Scott has agreed to be our guest speaker. You may know him as ‘the man who pulled Derek the Dragon round the 2006 London Marathon’.
