Sheralee Gladdish a pre-school worker at Christchurch Pre-School in Chislehurst, has become one of only 88 people from over three quarters of a million eligible learners to win a City and Guilds Medal of Excellence for her outstanding performance on the NVQ 2 in Childcare.
Whilst working at the pre-school Sheralee attended Greenwich Community College to study an NVQ level 2 in Childcare. Having successfully completed the course the assessor felt Sheralee’s work was outstanding and should be put forward for the award.
According to the City and Guilds judging panel, “Sheralee Gladdish has shown tremendous determination and originality in her coursework, and has achieved very high standards. She is a deserving recipient of the Medal of Excellence and we are delighted to have chosen her for this award.”
Having successfully completed her level 2, Sheralee is now studying for her level 3 in Childcare
Ernest Noad, Bromley’s Executive Councillor for Children and Young People said: “Congratulations to Sheralee for this tremendous achievement. Her hard work and effort are inspirational to all other childcare workers. It is fantastic to know that the children of Bromley are being cared for by such highly motivated and talented workers”.
