New business directory for Bromley
A 2007 edition of the Bromley Business Directory is now available. With thousands of entries offering information about businesses throughout the borough, the brand new and fully updated directory will help people to find local suppliers of goods and services, but will also be invaluable to businesses as a marketing tool. The directory, now available free of charge from libraries across the borough and at the Civic Centre reception, is complemented by an online version accessible via the Bromley Council website (www.bromley.gov.uk/businessdirectory). The online Bromley Business Directory is constantly updated and enables visitors to the site to:
View business listings
Search for businesses by activity, size or other criteria
Select and purchase data from the directory for marketing or research purposes
Any business based within the borough is entitled to a free entry in the directory, and it is easy to submit details via the website.

Notes to editors:
The web-based Bromley Business Directory contains just under 4000 local businesses, with around 2000 of these included in the printed version, which covers just business-to-business sectors.
Both book and web version of the directory contain editorial pages outlining support and services for business available from the Council and its partners, along with a map of the borough and useful facts and figures about the local economy.
Around 3000 copies of the book will be distributed free of charge through Council service points, including libraries and other partners such as the Chamber of Commerce. The top 100 employers and businesses new to the borough have also been sent copies.
