May Fair at Petts Wood Hall
The May Fair will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 5 May between 10am and 4pm in Petts Wood Hall and gardens along Petts Wood Road. There will be plenty of entertainment throughout the day including maypole dancing, various dance schools performing routines as well as live music, a salsa lesson, a treasure hunt, stalls, cakes and refreshments, yummy mummy makeovers, craft activities and face painting. There will also be a classic sports car display, children’s rides, plus a police car and fire engine (on call). The Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Pauline Tunnicliffe, will crown this year’s May Queen at 11am.
“I am delighted that local businesses and organisations are once again supporting the May Fayre. This year’s fair, sponsored by Cook and supported by The Bed Post, is expected to be bigger and better than ever with something for all the family” said Lorraine McQuillan, Town Centre Manager.
As part of the May Day celebrations the May Queen Group will also be parading through Petts Wood on Saturday 3 May starting at the News Shopper car park at 2pm.
