main content New year - New way of doing business

18 January 2008

Businesses keen to grow in 2008 are being invited to sign up to the ebusinessbromley project. Developed by Bromley Council and Bromley Adult Education College ebusinessbromley provides training to help business owners harness the power of the internet.

With UK online shopping sales setting new records each month, and forecast to grow to £162bn by 2020, it is difficult for anyone to ignore the massive potential of the internet as a channel for business growth. But faced with a dazzling array of choices and ever-changing technology, it is no wonder that, for many small businesses, taking the first steps in e-business can be a daunting prospect.

The ebusinessbromley project offers a series of short training seminars, delivered by business and ICT experts, on a range of topics - from a general overview of the benefits (and pitfalls) of e-business through creating a website to search engine marketing. The introductory 3-hour workshop is free of charge while advanced workshops, ranging from half to two days are charged at the rate of £25 + VAT per half day. ebusinessbromley seminars are open to any small business based within London Borough of Bromley.
