Disruption to council systems

Systems update following power outage.
At the end of last week, the council experienced a major disruption to its systems.
This followed a power outage and we would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you, as we were unable to be contacted on some phone numbers or by email.
We want to assure our residents, community and partners that our business continuity plans were implemented with speed. Immediate steps were taken to resolve the systems issue, however because of further damage caused by the initial power outage, regrettably, this was not possible until the weekend.
Once again, may we apologise for any inconvenience you may have experienced.
