Thames Water repair work on Bromley Common (A21) continuing and on Crofton Road, Locksbottom

Bromley Common (A21) remains closed as Thames Water work to make repairs following a major burst water main on Friday.
The actual burst main occurred near the junction with Southlands Road, with traffic and local bus routes (nos. 61, 208, 261, 320 and 358) affected and being diverted.
It is anticipated that the road will re-open in the next few days.

Crofton Road repairs update
Temporary traffic lights remain in place as Thames Water repairs need to be completed in Crofton Road following a burst water main near the junction with Glyndebourne Park, with the repair work starting last Thursday evening.
Temporary traffic lights are being used to control traffic, with these lights expected to be in situ for at least this weekend, into next week
It is not yet known how long these repairs will take and further information will follow when available.
