Talking about our borough

Bromley Council Leader, Councillor Colin Smith, is inviting residents to come to a daytime public meeting to ‘talk about our borough’ in the run up to setting the council’s budget.

The meeting will take place at the Civic Centre between 11am and 12.30pm on Friday 1 December 2017

Cllr Colin Smith said: “We look forward to welcoming you to our daytime public meeting on 1 December. My cabinet colleagues and I are always keen to hear what you think we are doing well, where you would like a greater focus and how we can work together to build an even better Bromley.

“Last year we were able to respond in the council’s budget with around £1m to enhance the street scene, planning and enforcement and evolve a new apprenticeship scheme to help more Bromley people into work. This is in addition to £1.5m of new money to improve services for our vulnerable young people.”

Other ways residents can give their views are by talking to representatives of their residents’ associations, who have been invited to attend a round-table discussion, contacting their local councillor or emailing leader@bromley.gov.uk.
