Bromley is a place that cares about its young people and is ambitious for their future development and achievements.

That’s why Bromley Council, Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group, education providers and the police have recently launched the Children and Young People’s Plan 2018-21.  The Plan contains commitments to improve the lives of all children and young people in Bromley, especially those who need extra support at certain times.

The Plan is a commitment by partner organisations to work together in the best interests of the borough’s young people. Partners want to provide outstanding services and remain absolutely committed to continuously improving what they do so they can improve the life chances of Bromley’s young people still more.  By achieving the commitments in the Plan, Bromley will be an excellent place for children and young people to grow up and to thrive.

Councillor Peter Fortune, Executive Member for Children and Families said:  “We are passionate about improving the way our children and young people develop into well-rounded adults who have the skills, ambition and drive to enhance their chances in life to the maximum."

“Our Children and Young People’s Plan contains the ambitions of the council, Clinical Commissioning Group and our partners to ensure that the right services are delivered to allow the next generation to grow and thrive here in Bromley. I welcome the commitment demonstrated by all the organisations involved to our shared mission through the work of the Children’s Executive Board. We all aspire to young people who are supported, safe and confident of their ability to be the very best they can.”
