A by-election to elect a new councillor for Bromley Town Ward.
The by-election to elect a new councillor for Bromley Town Ward has been set for Thursday, 3 May 2012; it is brought about by the resignation of Diana MacMull. The by-election will take place on the same day as the London Mayor and London Assembly.
Anyone who wishes to stand as a candidate should complete a nomination and hand deliver it the Returning Officer before noon on Wednesday, 4 April 2012.
A full list of those standing will be published on Tuesday, 10 April 2012.
Distribution of poll cards will begin shortly, and anyone who has not received one by early April should call 020 8313 4364 to ensure they are on the electoral register.
Residents wishing to vote by post must ensure their application is received by 5pm on Wednesday, 18 April 2012. The deadline for applying for a proxy vote is 5pm on Wednesday, 25 April 2012.
Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on 3 May.
