One day to show that ‘Bromley Means Business’

Published Friday, 5 June 2015

A free to attend, one day business expo is set for a day of inspiration and innovation for businesses in Bromley.

Places are still available to attend the Bromley Means Business event on Tuesday 16 June showcasing and supporting businesses from across the borough and beyond. The day, held at the Great Hall in Bromley Council’s Civic Centre from 9am – 5pm will include an exhibition, talks, bookable advice sessions and networking opportunities. The event is taking place in partnership with the Council, Your Business Community and NatWest Bank.

“Bromley has a fantastic range of local businesses across the borough and we are delighted to showcase that our town is open for business. Bromley has much to offer given our investment opportunities, proximity to Central London, transport links, a safe environment and educated workforce and we are excited to promote these factors to our existing businesses and to new businesses. Businesses from Bromley and further afield will be attending so why not utilise this opportunity to show what you have to offer” said Councillor Peter Morgan, Executive Councillor for Renewal and Recreation.

Bringing together businesses from across Bromley and the South East, the Bromley Means Business Expo is aimed at start-ups, entrepreneurs and established business owners and managers.

The event will be officially opened by the new Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Kim Botting, introducing a day packed with activities, including free seminars covering subjects relevant to all businesses, a 1:1 Advice Clinic for personal advice from business experts and networking sessions to meet clients, suppliers or partners, with a complimentary buffet. There is also an exhibition of over 30 stands showcasing support groups, service providers and Bromley Council departments to guide, advice and support businesses.
