Annual Report of the Directors of Public Health 2003
Bromley Primary Care Trust (PCT) has been in existence for three years now and has taken the lead in improving the health of the population in Bromley. The Department of Public Health is located within the PCT, but the whole organisation works across boundaries and organisations to improve health and prevent disease. A key stage in this process is understanding the health problems of the local population, what affects health and what can be done to improve health and prevent illness. The Public Health Report provides baseline data on key health issues in Bromley to inform the development of services to improve health and treat ill health.
