We provide services for people who are disabled or ill and offer support to people with HIV or Aids, so that they and their carers get the care they need and can live as independently as possible.
Social care in Bromley is changing. Here are some of the changes that we are making to the way we support people over the next few years:
- Supporting Independence in Bromley is the name of the programme of work which will change the way that people's social care, support and services are delivered to give people more choice, control and independence.
- Extra Care Housing is one of the ways that Bromley is modernising its services.
Information on the services we provide for people who are disabled or ill; there are a range of services for people who are older, blind or partially sighted, deaf or hard of hearing, with learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities.
We are responsible for safeguarding adults who are vulnerable to the risk of abuse. We work in partnership with other agencies in Bromley through the Bromley Safeguarding Adults Board to ensure that vulnerable people are protected from harm.
