Bromley Council's Adults and Community Services Department operates the Meals at Home service, which offers a first class choice of frozen ready meals delivered to your door. Meals at Home offers an extensive range of meals suitable for all dietary needs including vegetarian, gluten free, ethnic, low fat, soft, pureed and diabetic.
Purpose of this service
The aim of the Meals at Home service is to meet the key nutritional needs of adults living in the borough of Bromley who have difficulty in getting to the shops or cooking for themselves from scratch.
Benefit of service
- helpful, CRB checked delivery drivers who always carry an official identity card and will pack the meals in your freezer, if that's what you want.
- free loan of a freezer and/ or microwave for the time you receive the service
- delivery of your order, the next working day following your initial call
- one single subsidised price for all meals to make budgeting easier.
Additional support
If you feel that you need additional help with the heating of the meals, please contact the Meals at Home office and will pass your details on to someone who may be able to help.
Payment Options
We offer a range of payment methods, simply pay cash or cheque to the driver or we can send an invoice each month to you or an advocate. We also take all major credit and debit cards.
