The Carers Forum (formerly the Carers Working Group) is an independent non-political group of concerned carers living in the London Borough of Bromley. It provides a channel through which carers and former carers can express their views and have their collective voice heard. The group was founded in September 2001 and is looking for new members.

Details

There are an estimated 33,000 Carers in Bromley. If you provide support and/or care for a child, spouse, relative or friend, who is disabled, frail, has mental health problems or alcohol, drug, substance misuse problems or who is unable to live independently you are a Carer.

Carers Forum provides a channel through which Carers and former Carers can express their views and have a collective voice heard. It is an independent non-political group for carers who live in the London Borough of Bromley. The Carers Forum is committed to raising carer’s issues and concerns. It has close links with the Local Authority, Bromley Hospitals, Oxleas, the Primary Care Trust and the Voluntary Sector organisations. It consults with them on Carers concerns.

The Carers Forum is keen to hear from Carers of both their anxieties and ideas towards a better quality of life.
