Could you be a Street Friend? Street Friends are people who, like us, care about the street environment and want to make the street you live in or regularly use a clean and safe place. Street Friends are people who are willing to look out for problems, like graffiti, dumped vehicles and litter, and report them to us.
Details
Ever feel frustrated about something that you see on your street? Ever wonder how to 'get things done'? Would you like to help us keep your street clean and safe by letting us know when you see a problem, such as graffiti, litter or broken street lights?
Would you like to get together with your neighbours and make a difference to your neighbourhood? You could work with us to organise litter picking or a clean-up, or ask us to improve the general condition of your street.
You can help us by reporting:
- graffiti and fly-posting
- dumped rubbish (fly-tipping)
- dumped vehicles
- overhanging vegetation
- litter and dirt
- dog fouling
- faulty street lights
- road and pavement problems
We can help you by providing:
- equipment including litter pickers and bags
- contractors on hand to help with organised clean-up events
- graffiti-removal kits, including paint and brushes
To help you plan and organise your project, we'll make sure that one of our specially trained officers will be available to assist you. All you need to do is get in touch. Some of our residents and residents' groups are already successfully working to improve their neighbourhoods. Join us with your local community to help us build a better Bromley!
