Details
Any Blue Badge holder can park in a disabled parking bay. Applications for new disabled parking bays must:
- show that there is a genuine need for the bay requested
- not have access to private parking within or near the premises
After applying, you will need to see our doctor and your neighbours will be consulted. Road safety concerns may prevent us from installing a disabled bay. If approved, a traffic management order must be created and the process can take some months to complete.
