Do NOT ignore parking/ bus lane Penalty Charge Notices (parking tickets). They may carry extra penalties if not paid or contested promptly.

The full fee payable will be clearly shown on your Penalty Charge Notice (parking ticket). A 50% discount is only permitted if payment is received within 14 days of the date of the Penalty Charge Notice being served.

How to pay your Penalty Charge Notice:

With any payment, please ensure that you include the penalty charge notice reference number which starts BY and is followed by a series of numbers or letters.

Parking fines can be paid:

  • by telephone, using the credit or debit card payment line listed below
  • by post using the address listed below
  • in person at the 'cash' office at Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, in Bromley, from Monday to Friday, 08.45 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., or
  • in person at the 'cash' office at The Walnuts, High Street, Orpington. The opening times are from Monday to Friday, 08.45 a.m. to 4.30 p.m
