We use roads and pavements everyday whether as a driver, rider, pedestrian or cyclist and everyday accidents happen on our roads which are avoidable. Our aim is to reduce accidents across the borough. By educating road users, especially vulnerable groups, we can improve road safety. By targeting specific locations, we can also reduce accidents with engineering measures.

We offer complete driving courses and advanced motorcycling courses if you want to improve your skills. As younger drivers are more likely to be involved in accidents, we have a comprehensive education programme. We also target moped and scooter riders. We also offer minibus driver training too. If you are responsible for transporting children, our child car seat fitting centre and retailer accreditation scheme will be of interest.

Our ever popular cycle training courses are available for adults, families and children. Cycle route information is also available.

We have a comprehensive schools' programme which includes travel plan initiatives.
