Adult and family cycle training
Our free courses are designed to give you the skills to cycle competently and confidently and have fun doing so whether on your own or with family and friends.
We offer our training all year round to adult’s and families who want to take up cycling either to commute, to keep fit or to buy the paper at the local shop.
Studies have shown that cycling is a quick and reliable way to travel from A to B, particularly over short distances. Why not enrol on one of our courses to improve your confidence or gain useful 'on road' cycling skills?
Details
Our training gives you all the skills and confidence you need to enjoy cycling by tailoring the training around your needs. Our adult and family training takes place as 1-2-1 or in small groups so you can receive most from the training.
We will start “off road” in a cycle friendly park near to where you live, dealing with basic cycle maintenance and building up your skills in bicycle control. Once skills and confidence have been gained, the training continues on local roads, dealing with road junctions and good practice for dealing with other traffic.
We prefer to keep family groups to a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children per instructor with children being aged 8 or over.

These courses are free for a limited period due to sponsorship from Transport for London (TFL).
