Advanced motorcycling is all about getting from A to B as quickly and with as much fun as possible. (Isn't that why we have bikes in the first place?) Advanced riding is about doing this safely. It doesn't take much to write off a bike or a rider.

Details

Our one-day course is an introduction to advanced riding.

The morning is spent in the classroom learning about advanced motorcycling.

After a short buffet lunch you will be taken out, on a one-to-one basis, with an observer from the IAM following you.

At the end of the day the observer will feed back on your riding and, hopefully, this will be enough to get you to continue your training and go on to take, and pass, the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists test.

Course have now finished for the Summer of 2007.  No dates have currently been set aside for next year.  If you would like to go on our mailing list please contact us using the details below, and new dates will be sent you when they are agreed.

All courses start at 9.30 am and usually finish at around 4 pm (it can last longer depending on how much fun you are having!). The course costs £26, which includes a  buffet lunch.

Please note: to attend this course you must have a full motorcycle licence and a bike capable of 70 mph.

Information about the Kent Advanced Motorcycling is available from their website www.kamg.org.uk. Information about the London Advanced Motorcycling Group is available from their website at www.l-a-m.org
