Teaching children road safety should be an integral part of their learning. With this in mind Bromley's Road Safety Unit loan out 'play' equipment with a road safety theme to nurseries and schools, as a way of safely introducing children to the dangers of traffic and encouraging road safety skills.

Details

The resources can be in the form of Road Safety dressing up clothes, for example Policeman and woman, Firefighter and School crossing patrol.

These can be used in conjunction with equipment that can be set up as road scenes, pedestrian crossings or roadworks.

Also available various book, videos, tapes, puzzles and posters.

Collections and returns must be by appointment only.

Eligibility

Any nurseries, pre-schools, schools or clubs within the Borough.

Cost

Free to nurseries, pre-schools, schools, clubs and organisations in Bromley Borough.
