Application and payment for a death certificate

Only use this form if you can confirm that the event for which you would like to purchase a copy certificate for occurred within the borough of Bromley has been registered in person.

Please note that Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup is not in the London Borough of Bromley. If the event occurred at Queen Mary’s you should apply to Bexley Council.

Certifcate costs

  • £11.00 (Includes 2nd class postage - dispatched within 15 working days)
  • £13.00 (Includes signed for 1st class postage - dispatched within 15 working days)
  • £17.00 (postage outside the UK)

Copy certificates can only be purchased for deaths that have already been registered with the London Borough of Bromley after 1900.
