The Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant (OHLG) provides support to hospitality, leisure and accommodation businesses, in recognition that the rise of the Omicron variant means that some businesses are likely to struggle over the coming weeks.

We have written to several businesses who previously received a Restart Grant for hospitality, leisure and accommodation inviting them to complete an application form where we believe they may be eligible for this new grant. These businesses should use the link provided in the email to apply.
If you did not receive an email inviting you to claim this new grant and believe you are eligible you can still apply. Your application will need to be submitted before the closing date of 18 March 2022.
We are working to pay eligible businesses as quickly as possible however we are required to collect data from businesses that will enable accurate monitoring, evaluation, and assurance of business support grant payments by the government. To prevent fraud and error there are also several checks which must be carried out before the grant payment is made.
You will need to provide the following information when claiming the grant: -
- Your business rates reference number
- The number of people you employ at the business premises you are claiming the grant for
- Your Companies House registration number or registered charity number and the standard industrial classification number you registered against your business
- Your unique taxpayer reference number (UTR) or your National Insurance number if your business is not registered with Companies House or the Charity Commission
- The bank account details that the previous grant was paid to. (New applicants will need to provide a November 2021 bank statement for their business).
To submit your claim, only click the form submit button once. You will receive confirmation online and by email that your claim has been received along with your claim reference number. Please avoid clicking the submission button multiple times as this will delay your claim being processed.
If you have more than one business property liable for business rates that meets the criteria for this grant, please complete an application for each business property.
