Following an extensive search and consultation, the outreach service has now moved to co-locate at Mottingham Library and the Mottingham Community and Learning Shop has now closed. Find out more about this decision.

Mottingham Library is located at 31 Mottingham Road, Mottingham, SE9 4QZ (Opposite the new Lidl). Find out more about the library service.

The outreach service encourages and supports local Bromley residents to improve their quality of life, and to build a better future for themselves, their families, and their community.

The outreach service is open Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4pm (closed 1pm to 2pm).

The services being provided by the outreach service are:

Advice and guidance: 

Monday 9:30am to 11:30am at Mottingham Library.

Monday 1pm to 4pm at St. Edwards Church Hall St. Keverne Road SE9 4AQ.

Tuesday 9:30am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm at Mottingham Library.

Wednesday 9:30am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm at Mottingham Library.

Thursday 9:30am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm at Mottingham Library.

Computer use: Tuesday and Thursday 9:30am to 12.55pm and 2pm to 3.45pm.

Scanning and uploading facilities to LBB and other government/benefit sites.

Telephone use: For essential access e.g. contacting DWP, housing/council tax benefit, housing association repairs.

Work Club: Thursday 2pm to 3.30pm.

Which Stitch!: Thursday 10am to 12pm learn how to undertake basic alterations and repairs, learn how to knit, crochet, use a sewing machine etc. Come and join the group, have a cup of tea and a chat in a friendly informal setting.

Clarion Housing: (from 17 April 2023) Weekly drop-In session offering help and support to Clarion residents – Tuesday 10am to 12pm.

Hestia (Bromley Tenancy Support Service): Fortnightly drop-In session – Tuesday 9am to 11am, please call to confirm Tuesday dates.

Local Ward Councillors: Fortnightly drop-In surgery – please call for forthcoming date and time.

Bromley Well: Monthly drop-in session offering advice and support for individuals with physical disabilities – please call for forthcoming date and time.
