Bromley Council is the Licensing Authority under the Licensing Act 2003 and is responsible for granting premises licences, club premises certificates, temporary events notices and personal licences in the borough for the sale and/or supply of alcohol, and the provision of regulated entertainment and late night refreshment. We have delegated our licensing functions to the General Purposes and Licensing Committee. Members of this Committee will be responsible for the detailed administration of our licensing function assisted by officers. The decision making arrangements between the Licensing Authority (the Council), the Licensing Committee and officers is set out in this policy statement. The draft Statement of Licensing Policy 2021-26 is available for consultation until 31 August 2020.
