Open Justice Bromley invites you to experience justice in action at Bromley Magistrates' Court.
Observe a court, have a magistrate explain how it works and their role in the delivery of justice. The principle of open justice is an essential element of the English justice system.
Virtually all criminal cases start in a magistrates' court, and more than 90 per cent will be completed there and anyone over 14 can attend court to watch a criminal trial and/or sentencing taking place.
You are welcome to come alone or as a group of up to 8 (each person will need a ticket in their own name).
Get your ticket here: https://openjusticebromley.eventbrite.co.uk . Tickets are available for the first Tuesday of each month.
Attend the court on your selected day at 9:30 am to meet your magistrate host and see justice in action from 10:00 am - 12 noon (be prepared to show your ticket and for airport-style security, you must have one ticket per person).
