Online resources to help with home learning

Keeping your child busy and occupied during this time might be challenging so we have pulled together this list of additional home learning resources to keep them interested.  

Try the BBC Bitesize website lessons full of videos, quizzes and practice activities to help you with home learning. 

The BBC have a range of programmes on iplayer to support pupils, parents, carers and teaching staff during lockdown.

ClickView website offers free online learning resources including student wellbeing resources.

Distance learning for special education have developed resources for children and young people with SEND from around the world.

Oak National Academy website has thousands of free video lessons and resources for pre-school children to the end of Key Stage 4  

The Department for Education has created a list of free online educational resources to help children of all ages  learn at home as well as specific resources for adults looking after primary school children and secondary school children during Covid-19.

Using the internet and mobile data

Support is available for families and pupils who need help with accessing mobile data to help with remote learning.  Parents, carers and pupils are not able to apply for this help directly but can apply through their school or college.
