Applying for the new reception intake
National Offer Day is Tuesday 19 April 2022. Offer notifications will be sent after 5pm on this day. Every Bromley resident who applied on time (by 15 January 2022) will receive an offer of a school place on this date.
If you applied online, you will be able to log onto your eAdmissions account after receiving your offer notification to find out the details of the school offered. Please wait until you have received your email before logging onto eAdmissions.
A next steps guide is available to help you understand what options are available following your school offer. The admissions and transport team strongly encourage you to read this guidance before making decisions so that you have as much information as possible to help you in your decision making.
You must ensure that you accept or refuse the place offered online (via eAdmissions) by Wednesday 4 May 2022. Alternatively, you can email your acceptance or refusal to [email protected]. Please ensure that you give your child’s name, date of birth and the name of the school offered in your email.
If you decide to refuse the place offered, admissions and transport must receive written notification from you (via email or letter or in your online response) stating which alternative school has been secured or what education provision you are making for your child. If you do not provide this information, your refusal will not be processed.
If you are a Bromley resident and wish to add additional schools to your child’s application for September 2022, please complete the additional preference form.
The additional preferences will be added to your child’s secondary application after Wednesday 18 May 2022.
Making an application
Online applications will only be processed when proof of address and parental responsibility have been received by the admissions team. Please see application terms and conditions for further information.
If you are unable to make an online application (for example, your preferences are outside the London area or you are applying out of year), paper forms are available on special request from the admissions team.
Bromley Admissions process all school applications for London Borough of Bromley residents. You cannot apply directly to schools.
If you live outside the London Borough of Bromley, you must apply to your local council, even if you want to apply for a Bromley school. You can however include Bromley schools on your home local authority application.

The closing date for applications for places in September 2022 was Saturday 15 January 2022.

Bromley resident applicants, accepted as on time will be sent a notification of offer email on Tuesday 19 April 2022 from 5.30pm. It is planned that a letter will also be mailed the same day (by first class post) confirming the school offer and the options available if this wasn’t a first preference offer.

Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan, please do not complete any of these forms but contact the special educational needs team on 020 8313 4739 for further information.
Children with medical or social needs
In exceptional circumstances there is discretion to admit a child on the grounds of their or their family’s acute medical and social need for their first preference school only. Applications must have been made by 15 January 2022 using the registration form for consideration under medical or social needs.
