Update from the school admissions team

Secondary admissions September 2021
Arrangements for National Offer Day, Monday 1 March 2021

Members of the admissions team are working from home during the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) restrictions.

Offer letters, therefore, were not posted this year to Bromley resident families.

During the evening of Monday 1 March applicantswere sent an email from eAdmissions containing their application outcome. Please wait for your email before logging into the eAdmissions site. 

Offers should be accepted online.

If you have not been offered your 1st preference school, an advice sheet will confirm what happens next and the options available.

Reply to your offer by Monday 15 March.  The team will accept responses online or by email to school.admissions@bromley.gov.uk

Emailed acceptances must confirm the child’s name, date of birth and the name of the offered school in the message.

Please note:  Declines will only be processed when we are given the name of the alternative school place secured for the applicant.

If you are a Bromley resident and wish to add additional schools to your child’s secondary application for September 2021, please complete the additional preference form.  The additional preferences will be added to your child’s secondary application after Tuesday 4 May 2021.

Online applications will only be processed when proof of address and parental responsibility have been received by the admissions team. Please see application terms and conditions  for further information.

Parents of pupils in independent schools or schools outside the London Borough of Bromley need to complete the registration for secondary school transfer form to support their online application and return it with the required documents, to the admissions team

Bromley Admissions process all school applications for London Borough of Bromley residents. You cannot apply directly to schools.

If you live outside London Borough of Bromley, you must apply via your local council, even if you want to apply for a Bromley school. You can however include Bromley schools on your home local authority application.

Bromley residents should apply online at http://www.eadmissions.org.uk/

Key dates

The closing date for applications for places in September 2021 was 31 October 2020.

National offer day is Monday 1 March 2021.

Bromley resident applicants, accepted as on time will receive a notification of offer from 5.30pm.
