Foodbanks in Bromley
There are a number of foodbanks open across the borough for people who need them.
Bromley Borough Foodbank (Trussell Trust)
Bromley Borough Foodbank provides emergency 7-day nutritional food supplies for those who are dealing with a financial crisis. Their voucher scheme works with referrals via different agencies.
The foodbank is currently operating a delivery-only service Monday - Friday as the centres are closed at present.
If you are not able to pay for food please contact Bromley Borough Foodbank on 0800 9 20 23 24 and they will direct you to the relevant agency to you.
The agency will then complete a brief assessment of your needs to ensure you receive all the support available to you, whatever your situation. An e-voucher code will then be emailed directly to our centre where a food package will be scheduled for delivery.
Anerley Team Ministry Foodbank
The Anerley Team Ministry Foodbank is based at Christ Church Anerley, 197 Anerley Road, London, SE20 8ER. It is open from 10am to 12noon on Wednesdays, primarily for residents in Penge, Anerley and Crystal Palace.

Hayes Community Foodbank
Hayes Community Foodbank offers additional support in response to the current Covid-19 crisis. They deliver bags of food to anyone who has a child at either Hayes Primary School, Hayes Secondary School or St Mary’s Pre-School in Hayes, or who is a resident of Hayes.
Deliveries are made on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.
Families with children at the Hayes schools or pre-school will have received an email from the school, but if you require further information please contact the appropriate school office.
Residents of Hayes who are not linked to the schools can email email@example.com and a form with a list of available items will be sent.

Please note that there is no facility for items to be collected – it is delivery only.
Living Well Bromley
Living Well is located at Holy Trinity Church in Beckenham.
It offers a foodbank, a community lunch, mental health support, debt advice and help with addiction.
It is open on:
- Tuesday from 3pm to 4pm
- Friday from 1pm to 2.30pm
- Saturday from 10.30am to 12noon
There is also a Community Lunch (delivered as a take-away) every Friday from 1pm to 2.30pm.
Mottingham Foodbank is based at St Edward’s Church Hall and provides a range of food (including pet food), toiletries and other basics for residents of Mottingham and surrounding areas e.g. Downham, Coldharbour. You do not require a voucher or referral. You can collect or they can deliver.

Friday 9.30am - 1pm
Saturday 10am - 12 noon
Deliveries can be requested if you are not able to come to the foodbank due to being housebound, ill, significantly disabled or in a caring role such as a single parent with young children, and have no one to collect on your behalf. If you need to request a delivery call or message the Foodbank during opening times on 07395 565984.
Community Fridge at Unity Church
The Community Fridge provides fresh, free food donated by local shops for the community on or near the Ramsden Estate, Orpington.
It is open on Wednesday and Saturday from 9:30 am until food stocks are cleared (generally before 10am).
On the days they are open, you should visit the Unity Church in Rye Crescent, BR5 4NH.
Whitefoot & Downham Community Food + Project
The Whitefoot and Downham Community Food + Project (wdcfplus) are providing emergency food relief support to local people, primarily for those in the Whitefoot and Downham area.
Food packages every Thursday evening. For visitors who need food and advisory support, the project is open every Thursday evening from 7pm to 8.30pm.
During the open times, visit Hope Church Downham, 480 Whitefoot Lane, Downham, BR1 5SF.
