Civil partnership registration and ceremonies
Arranging your civil partnership in Bromley
From 21 June, there will no longer be a maximum number cap for attendees set out in law. Instead, the number of attendees at marriage and civil partnership ceremonies will be determined by how many people the venue or space can safely accommodate with social distancing measures in place. This will be based on the COVID-19 risk assessment of the venue or outdoor space and the measures put in place to limit the spread of COVID-19.
In order to maintain social distancing in our ceremony rooms the numbers will remain as shown for each room from 21 June. Please check Bromley Civic Centre venues information or directly with your approved licensed venue.
There are a number of ceremony rooms available at the Civic Centre, including - The Function Room, Old Palace - The Chairman’s Room, Old Palace, the Rose Room and the Garden Room. Each location offers different facilities to make your special day perfect. We are sure that you will find somewhere that suits both your taste and budget.
In addition there are other venues in the Bromley area licensed for civil partnership ceremonies.
Once you have a ceremony booked you will need to give notice of civil partnership, find out more information about giving notice.
