Finding a reliable trader

Whether you're making home improvements or getting your garden ready for spring, choosing a local trader you can rely on can be a daunting prospect. That's why Bromley Council Trading Standards has joined forces with Checkatrade to ensure residents can easily find reputable traders in their area.

Replacing the Safer Trader Register scheme in Bromley, the Checkatrade and Trading Standards Bromley partnership covers a larger number of local businesses.

How it works

You can browse the Checkatrade directory of local tradesman. The tradesmen listed have been verified by Bromley Trading Standards and you can see what others have said about a trader.

In exchange for this free service, you will be asked to give feedback on traders for others to read.

If you are unable to access the online directory please call 0333 0146190.

You can also download the Checkatrade app on your smartphone to find your nearest trader.
