SEND sleeping difficulties
If your child is having trouble sleeping, it can have a negative effect on the whole family by disrupting the sleep of you and their siblings. Unfortunately, there are no quick fixes for sleep problems but there are certain things you can do to improve the situation. Lots of things can affect sleep, from the bedroom environment to the activities your child does before going to bed.
The NHS Choices healthy sleep tips for children provides information on sleeping well for both children and young people and their parents or carers.
Advice for Bromley parents
If a child is between 0 and 2 years 6 months, please contact your health visitor or GP. If a child is between 2 years and 5, please contact your GP in the first instance or you may also wish to speak to your community nursing team about sleep problems.
