Crab Hill and Ravensbourne Avenue consultation report

Crab Hill parking review - proposed layout

Crab Hill and Ravensbourne Avenue parking review consultation

The council is proposing changes to the parking bays on Crab Hill and Ravensbourne Avenue. The intention of the scheme is to help improve parking as these changes are in response to traffic and parking issues on Crab Hill and Ravensbourne Avenue.

The main issues relate to parking congestion on Ravensbourne Avenue and speeding on Crab Hill. We consulted on the proposals which aim to remedy this. These are: conversion of existing paid bays to free bays on Crab Hill; removal of existing bays close to junctions on Crab Hill and Ravensbourne Avenue; conversion of existing bays to pay by phone bays on Ravensbourne Avenue; proposal of single / double yellow lines and white bar marking on Ravensbourne Avenue and proposal of single / double yellow lines on Ravensmead Road.

The consultation period ended on 27 January 2020.
