Garden Room
The Garden Room overlooks the lawns at the back of the Bishop's Palace and is a large airy room, seating a maximum of 130 guests. The Garden Room is equipped with a music player in order that a selection of background music can be played whilst your guests are taking their seats and also during the signing of the register/documentation.
Once you have given your notice, we will provide you with information about the ceremony. Although you can enhance your ceremony with your own personal touches, please bear in mind that your ceremony can only last 20 minutes, and the Superintendent Registrar needs to approve all additions at least 2 weeks before the ceremony. The Superintendent Registrar will be happy to discuss the suitability of your chosen reading or music with you.

Seating for 130 guests. 130 is the maximum number of guests allowed to attend. This includes witnesses and children.
Availability
Friday from 1.30pm, Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays.
We are taking bookings up until 30/08/2024.
Costs
For ceremonies taking place from 1 April 2023 until 31 March 2024 - Friday, Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday £445.
For ceremonies taking place from 1 April 2024 until 30 August 2024 - Friday, Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday £475.

The ceremony room is located at ground floor level.
