Consultation about Housing Strategy for next decade underway

Ambitious plans to develop 1000 new homes on council-owned land or acquired sites by 2022 have been confirmed as part of the draft Housing Strategy being proposed.
Consultation about the proposed draft Housing Strategy is underway, with responses being encouraged by Monday 21 October when consultation closes. The draft Housing Strategy outlines 4 key priorities, which are:
- More homes – increasing the number of homes in Bromley
- Better quality, more affordable homes
- Preventing and tackling homelessness
- Supporting vulnerable people
