Civic Centre car park (ANPR) customer information

The operating system in place in the Civic Centre car park is Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) with cash and card payment options available at the pay stations and an online cashless payment service available through APCOA Connect. Paper tickets are not required for display or payment purposes in this car park.

On approach to the car park entrance, a camera scans your vehicle number plate and the barrier is raised automatically to allow you to enter  When you’re ready to leave, your payment is calculated when you enter your vehicle registration at a pay station or through APCOA Connect. At the exit, the ANPR system matches your payment to your vehicle number plate and the barrier is raised automatically for you to leave.

Blue Badge holders

Please register for your entitlement to free and unlimited parking in the Civic Centre car park.

To register:

  • create a permit account through the Bromley permit portal - choose ‘resident’ if you live in the borough or ‘non-resident’ if you live outside the borough 
  • apply for your Blue Badge permit - you will need the first six digits of your Blue Badge number and your vehicle registration number
  • you can add up to three vehicle registration numbers to your permit, but please ensure that you have selected the vehicle you are using on any given day through your account before entering the car park, otherwise your permit will not be recognised at the exit and the barrier will not raise automatically to allow you to leave.

Motorcycles

Motorcycle parking is free and unlimited in the dedicated motorcycle bays.  Motorcyclists can leave the car park via the marked-out route at the main exit on level 1 only.
