Published Monday, 17 September 2018

Westmoreland Road will be closed to through traffic for two consecutive weekends to allow a crane to be operated in connection with the new St Mark’s Square development.

The closures are planned to go ahead on Saturday 22 September until Sunday 23 September and once more again the following weekend, on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 September.

The road is expected to be closed from 8am on each Saturday through to approximately 7pm on each Sunday evening.

Whilst the closure is in place traffic will be diverted via Hayes Road, Hayes Lane and Masons Hill in both directions. The width restriction posts will be removed from Hayes Lane whilst the diversion is in place.

Access will be available for properties located at either side of the closure point, however through traffic will not be able to pass through the closure point. Pedestrians will be unaffected during the works.
