Talk, Tots and Tumble advice and play session

Parents and children are being encouraged to come along to a new family drop in session being held tomorrow morning.

The advice and information sharing initiative for parents is being held in Bromley, in the soft play area next to McDonalds in the Glades on Saturday 26 January, from 10am to 11.30am.

Councillor Nicky Dykes, Executive Assistant for Children, Education and Families said, “We know that people have increasingly busy lives in which juggling work commitments and childcare can make it difficult for parents to attend meetings in weekdays and evenings.  We are using this forum to reach out to parents to help signpost a range of services relevant to children and families.  As many parents will appreciate, when children are occupied, it is so much easier to ask questions of interest and the play area and informal surroundings all help facilitate this.”

In the drop-in visitor session before Christmas, the focus was on childcare funding, with information available at tomorrow’s session including signposting services about health and wellbeing areas, from a range of service providers.
