Check who is listed on your Household Enquiry Form

Registering to vote is an individual responsibility, but we must still conduct an annual canvass of who is eligible to vote, so every property in the borough will have received a yellow Household Enquiry Form.
This will mean that any new people added to the form can be invited to register individually. Also, are there people listed who no longer live at the property? There are several ways you can either confirm everything is correct or let us know that changes are required:
If the details remain the same, confirm this:
- online at www.householdresponse.com/bromley or
- by calling 0800 197 9871 or
- by texting NOCHANGE to 80212.
- To do this you will need the security code on the Household Enquiry Form.
The information gathered during this annual canvass will be used to put together the annual electoral register. This lists the names and addresses of everyone eligible to vote. It is used for electoral purposes, detecting crime, calling people for jury service and checking credit applications. It is a legal requirement and if you fail to give the necessary information you can face a fine.
Every household must respond to the Household Enquiry Form as soon as possible by checking the names of the people printed on the form who are currently registered to vote at the address. All the guidance is on the Household Enquiry Form so look out for it in your post. A reminder will be sent during September to everyone who has not yet responded.
- Tuesday 13 August = Initial HEF letters to be dispatched to households in Bromley
- Friday 25 October = Canvassers return HEF paperwork and Claim forms
- Wednesday 13 November = Canvassers return ITR paperwork and Claim forms
- Thursday 21 November = Last day for registering to vote (to go on 1 December register)
